    All information shared during the legal consultation will be treated as strictly confidential. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that any personal or sensitive details disclosed are safeguarded in compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards. This includes refraining from sharing your information with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.

  • This Initial Consultation Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between you and YMSON LAW OFFICE and becomes effective once it is signed/accepted and along with the payment for the basic consultation fee.*

    Note: If you wish for us to review any reasonable number of documents or court pleadings feel free to send them to our office via e-mail at admin@ymsonlawoffice.com at least three (3) business days before our meeting. Kindly note that more complex documents or pleadings which may require extensive review and/or research may be subject to additional fee which shall be disclosed upon receipt of said documents by our firm.
  • I hereby voluntarily acknowledge that I have understood the terms and conditions of the Legal Consultation.*
  • PROHIBITION ON RECORDING: I understand that unless otherwise agreed to by Ymson Law Office, audio or video recording the consultation is prohibited.*
  • Included in the consultation fee is 60 minutes of the lawyer’s time,either via Zoom or in person and that I will be charged the typical hourly rate for any time exceeding this allotted time. I may be charged a separate consultation fee for any subsequent/follow up consultation appointments on the same or any other legal matter which may be agreed upon separately.*
  • YMSON LAW OFFICE charges a basic consultation fee on all matters, which will be applied towards the acceptance fee based on our engagement agreement, if you decide to engage our services. In other words, Ymson Law Office gives free consultations to clients who would later decide to retain our services.*
  • Although the discussions during the initial consultation will be confidential, our firm is not agreeing to represent you as your lawyer concerning this legal issue. Absent any further mutually-signed Retainer/Engagement Agreement between us, our professional relationship will end at the close of the initial consultation.*
  • CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENT: If you need to cancel the consultation, you will be entitled to a full refund if you notify us via email or SMS, at least 24-hours prior to the appointment time we have agreed upon.*
  • GRACE PERIOD: I understand that I am only given a 15-minute grace period on the schedule I chose for the consultation which shall be included in the 60 minutes as hereinabove explained. If I fail to join my online consultation or arrive on time for my schedule within the grace period, the appointment may be automatically cancelled by the assigned lawyer.*
