In consideration of being allowed to participate in the travel experience organized and guided by Francesca Borghetti of Trust Centered Travel (hereinafter referred to as the "Guide"), taking place in Costa Rica, I, the undersigned participant, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Assumption of Risk: I am aware that participating in a travel experience involves certain risks, including but not limited to those associated with transportation, hiking, swimming, and other outdoor activities. I understand that these risks may result in injury, illness, or damage to personal property. 2. Physical Condition and Health: I certify that I am in good physical condition and have no medical conditions or disabilities that would prevent me from safely participating in the travel experience. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a healthcare professional regarding any necessary vaccinations, medications, or precautions related to traveling to Costa Rica. 3. Personal Property: I acknowledge that the Guide is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during the travel experience. I agree to assume full responsibility for safeguarding my personal property throughout the trip. 4. Travel Documents and Insurance: I am responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid travel documents, including a passport with at least six months' validity beyond the date of the trip. I understand that travel insurance, including medical and trip cancellation coverage, is strongly recommended, and I assume all associated costs and responsibilities. 5. Release and Indemnification: I hereby release and discharge the Guide, their affiliates, agents, employees, and assigns, from any and all claims, liabilities, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses, whether at law or in equity, arising out of or in connection with my participation in the travel experience. I agree to indemnify and hold the Guide harmless against any claims made by third parties arising from my actions or omissions during the trip. 6. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: I agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and customs of Costa Rica during the travel experience. I understand that any violation may result in my removal from the trip, with no entitlement to a refund or compensation. 7. Photography and Publicity: I grant the Guide the right to take photographs or videos of me during the travel experience for promotional and marketing purposes. Unless I have verbally opted out. I understand that my participation is voluntary, and I will not receive any compensation for the use of such materials. 8. Payments, Cancelations, and Refund Policy: I understand that the deposit of $500 is non-refundable and the balance of my full payment is due by 1/15/2025, unless a personal payment plan has been arranged with the Host for which a separate contract will be signed. A cancelation fee of $500 will apply due to associated costs and pre-payments for goods and services such as accommodations, rental vehicles, workshop facilitation, excursions, special gifts, etc if participation is withdrawn any time after a deposit is received. 9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Liability Release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Costa Rica.I have read this Liability Release carefully, fully understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms.
