Print on Demand submissions, Blue Moose Art Gallery

Choices and pricing

Below are the formats and sizes of prints on demand you can sell.  You can choose paper and/or canvas and two different sizes for each submission. 

PAPER: Fine Art Bright White, includes Standard Backing Board and print sleeves.

CANVAS:  Framing Wrap - 3/4" Bar, side stapled; Matte Finish

Choose ONLY those sizes you are selling.

Your size choices are these (all in inches):

6x6 and/or 12x12

5x7 and/or 10x14

8x10 and/or 16x20

10x12 and/or 20x24

12x15 and/or 24x30

For each choice you make, you will see the base cost of printing, packing, and shipping.  To this you add an amount you want to charge and on which your commission is based.  After you add this amount, the final cost to the customer will be calculated. 

For example, if you choose Paper 5x7, the base price is $13.26. If your additional cost is $15, the final cost to the customer will be $13.26+$15=$28.56.  The Gallery in general will round up these amounts (in this example $29.00)

In this example your commission will be based on the $15 additional cost. If your commission is 60%, your commission for the print will be $9. 

Special Size. You may choose one paper size not listed above.  List whether this is for paper and/or canvas, the size you want, and the additional cost you will charge.  Total cost to the customer will be the base price of the special size plus your additional cost. Once the Gallery calculates the total cost, the Gallery will place the piece in Shopify.

NOTE: you will be charged a $10 one-time fee for processing a special size.

Title: The name of your piece. All pieces must be named (70 characters or less). No quotation marks, please.  Note that each title should end in -POD at the end. If you are using an existing original, you can use the same title; just leave -POD at the end (no spaces--for example, title-POD).

Description: Please describe for customers the medium, materials used, size, and any other information that will help sell the piece. 

Also, if you have your own inventory number, please add it here.  With your inventory number added, you will be able to track your Gallery items more easily.

NOTE: Do not use “ or ‘ when describing sizes of art; please use the word inches or feet. Sorry about the complication, but using “ and ‘ interferes with our site’s ability to index and thus search for our pages.

Type: Select the type of art that most closely describes your piece from the dropdown list.

Photo For Print On Demand: 

Please provide a high resolution photo (at least 300dpi).  Please note: the dimensions of the photo you send must match the print size you choose. For example, if your photo is 12x12, the print size you choose should be 6x6 and/or 12x12.

File size is limited to 20mg. JPG, JPEG, or TIFF format. TIFF preferred. This photo will be used to create the final print.

Naming the photo. If you are able to name the photo, please use the title of the piece (title followed by -POD)
