Policies, Code of Conduct, Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk & Indemnification Agreement
Agreement Acknowledgment
By registering, enrolling, participating, attending, volunteering, or spectating in any program, activity, practice, game, event, camp, clinic, or function operated, sanctioned, or affiliated with Rock Chapel Park Association (RCPA), the undersigned parent(s), legal guardian(s), participant(s), and/or spectator(s) acknowledge that participation is a privilege, not a right, and agree to comply with all terms of this Agreement.
1. Policies, Procedures & Code of Conduct
RCPA is committed to providing a safe, structured, and positive environment. All participants, parents/guardians, coaches, volunteers, officials, and spectators must comply with all RCPA policies, procedures, rules, and codes of conduct—whether written or verbal—including any updates made during the season.
Prohibited Conduct (Non-Exhaustive)
Verbal, physical, or emotional abuse; harassment; intimidation; or threats
Unsportsmanlike conduct before, during, or after activities
Failure to follow directions of RCPA staff or safety protocols
Conduct that endangers participants, staff, or the organization
Disruption of events, practices, or games
2. Enforcement & Discipline
RCPA reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion, to enforce this Agreement to protect safety and program integrity. Violations may result in disciplinary action, including:
Verbal or written warnings
Immediate removal from an activity or facility
Immediate suspension
Immediate termination of registration and participation
Severe or repeated violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without prior notice.
Refund Policy Upon Termination
If registration is terminated due to a violation of this Agreement, a refund may be issued at RCPA’s discretion, less any administrative fees, uniforms, equipment, insurance, or program costs already incurred. RCPA is not obligated to refund fees resulting from disciplinary action or safety concerns.
3. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that athletic and recreational activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis, illness, property damage, emotional distress, and death. These risks may arise from physical exertion, contact with others, equipment use, field or facility conditions, weather, transportation, and the actions or inactions of participants, coaches, officials, volunteers, or spectators.
I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, associated with participation in RCPA activities.
