I acknowledge receiving the animal(s) described and agree to provide foster care for the animal(s) including food, water, and shelter, and to administer supplied medications as required.

I understand that in the event of a natural disaster such as a hurricane or other event I will be responsible for my foster pet during an evacuation and will provide him/her a safe place during the evacuation. If I am unable to do so I will contact KCR as soon as possible.

I understand that I must arrange for any veterinary care services through HFF in advance should the need arise. I acknowledge that KCR will not reimburse me for veterinary services that were not explicitly authorized through KCR.

I understand that the animal(s) remain the sole property of KCR and I agree to return the animal(s) to KCR upon request.

I acknowledge that I do not have any right or authority to keep or place foster animals in other homes without approval from KCR.

Should I decide to adopt the animal, I understand that I must notify KCR of this intent, submit an application for approval, and pay the applicable adoption fee within 48 hours of notifying KCR. Animals remain the property of KCR until the formal adoption process has been completed.

I understand that I am fostering a stray or abandoned animal and therefore, KCR cannot guarantee the animal’s temperament or health. Despite health screenings, the possibility exists that an animal could be harboring illness or parasites that could be transmitted to other pets.

I understand that I will not allow the fostered cats to share any supplies, toys, or other potentially transmitable things, with other pets that could potentially transmit any illness, disease, parasite, infection, or other un-healthy problems. This includes but is not limited too: Food & water dishes, litter boxes, toys, bedding, etc.

I understand that I must not lie, deceive, or otherwise risk my agreement & my fostered pets.

I understand that I must immediately document in writing, should any medical concerns arise & that

I understand that I must allow access to the fostered pet(s), immediately upon request, & without delay. This may include: Surprised check-ins, vet appointments, home-visits, adoption meets, video calls, photo proof, or otherwise required requestrian to prove the well-being of the fostered pet(s.)

I expressly release KCR from any liability and any damages arising out of this foster care arrangement.

I agree to contact KCR immediately if you are unable to continue fostering, or if you have a deadline to foster.

I understand that I am responsible for the fostered pet, until/unless care is transferred back to KCR.

I understand that the final decision for medical, meds, vets, adoptions, etc. is solely up to KCR, & I fully agree to abide by KCR wishes.
