(A.) All players must sign an MOU to play for their club before the start of the season.
(B.) Once a player signs an MOU for a club and plays in an official match, he/she must play for that club and may not transfer to another club until the designated transfer window.
(C.) The transfer window shall be determined by the competitions department and will be communicated before the start of the season.
(D.) All transfers require the Transfer Request Form (TRF).
(E.) The TRF shall have the following completed:
i. Signatures of the player, selling club, and buying club.
ii. $80 payment to the GFA Main Office or via online payment.
iii. For any player under 18 years old, his/her parent/guardian must be present at GFA to sign the TRF.
iv. GFA Office hours ate M-F 10am-5pm
(F.) The selling club must first remove the player from their teams’ official roster on PowerUp before the player can then register for the buying club.
(G.) A new MOU must be signed and submitted between the player and the buying club for the remainder of the season.
(H.) An additional transfer fee may be agreed between clubs. It is recommended that the selling club does not sign the TRF until any such agreed fee is paid.
(I.) Clubs must maintain at least 15 players on its official roster of registered players. No transfers out of a club will be allowed if the club roster size falls below 15.
(J.) Player attests that all information above is correct and true, and that all rules and procedures have been followed.
