Decolonising the Climate Crisis

Application deadline: Friday 10 January 2025, 17.00 (GMT)

The Small Grants call is designed to actively integrate decolonising methodologies into climate crisis research and initiatives. By leveraging insights from the Cultures of Decolonisation initiative, this call emphasises that truly addressing the climate crisis requires an inclusive, equity-focused approach.

The theme of this call is ‘Decolonising the Climate Crisis.’ Proposals should aim to address questions of power, how knowledge is produced and applied in relation to climate change and relevance to climate justice. Proposals should include themes from Indigenous knowledges and non-western interpretations. Applications of climate change in an interdisciplinary way would be particularly welcome.
