As a person who has wanted to write and publish a book for years, with no idea on how to do it, I was discouraged and fearful of trying. This course ignited the fire I needed to get started! Although there is a lot to take in and process, I feel like I just have some homework assignments to complete towards getting my book done! I feel like I have an actual formula to follow, which makes this feel more exciting than daunting. My favorite part is "study the genre" that you want to write in. I now want to run out and get every book in the genre I want to write in and get to studying! I've already grabbed my pen and notebook to start taking notes on the ideas and thoughts that popped up for my book. I've already began researching what exactly IS the genre of the type of book I want to produce and where are all the books for me to use as study material in that genre; I'm ready!
