The Town of Sneads will sponsor a Christmas Parade on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13th. This year's theme will be "A Christmas Carnival". Anyone wishing to participate in the parade may do so. Should you decide to enter the parade, please fill out the entry form. The Town will provide Santa Clause. Please do not have a Santa as part of your parade entry.

Parade time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. central time. Lineup will begin at 3:00 p.m. Lineup will start at Church St & Green Ave extending east on Church St. This is the road behind the high school. The route will go North on Green Ave, turn East on Hwy. 90 to North Legion Rd., terminating at the Sneads Ball Park. (Route goes down Hwy 90 from Auto Parts to just past Grocery Store)

Parade entries should enter at East Church St & Third Ave, coming from Old Spanish Trail. (The roadin front of the high school) NOTE: Third Ave from Hwy 90 to Church St will be CLOSED off!!! (This isthe road in front of the Police Dept. and City Hall) So you must enter from the South of Third Ave. There will be someone at Third Ave & Church St. to let you know your number. Then look for your number on the side of the road and line up next to it.

Due to safety and liability issues, a child who is riding an equine and who is younger than 16 years of age must wear a helmet that meets the current applicable standards of the American Society of Testing and Materials for protective headgear used in horseback riding (Florida Statue 773.06).

No 4-wheelers, go-carts will be allowed to participate in the parade. However, decorated golf carts, driven by a licensed driver may enter.

AFTER the Parade, the Town will host a Tree Lighting & Christmas Event at Sneads City Hall. We will light the Town Christmas Tree, have music, FREE food, kid activities, and visits with Santa.
