  • The Partners in Learning program invites AHRA members at any stage of professional development to spend a few days at another healthcare facility. Learn how others manage day-to-day operations and important issues, such as patient safety, equipment, and staffing.

    • Rejuvenate your perspective on current work practices.
    • Get innovative ideas and proven strategies to help you face day-to-day issues.
    • Learn how a colleague has successfully implemented new technologies.

    Past Partners in Learning guests are not eligible for repeat funding.

  • Although AHRA makes every effort to create satisfactory Partners in Learning matches, AHRA cannot guarantee you will be matched with one of your top choices.

    If your matched host does not seem to be a good fit, contact AHRA right away to be reassigned.

    Dates and duration for each Partners in Learning experience will be scheduled by you and your host for a mutually convenient time.

  • Partners in Learning Program Conditions

  • In the event that I am chosen to participate in the Partners in Learning program, I understand and agree that I am expected to write and/or contribute my program experiences to article(s) in an AHRA publication within 30 days following completion of my visit. Content will be considered for official publication, but is not guaranteed.

     

    Continued participation in the Partners in Learning program is contingent on AHRA membership.

     

    Travel must be completed by 12/31/2025 and reimbursement requests received no later than 1/31/2026.
