A 20-hour training is the basis for entry into being a street medic. It covers topics such as street medic ethics, weather-related illness, public health for social movements, basic first aid, police weaponry, and more. We will be prioritizing Black and Brown trainees. What is your racial identity?
Please list any accessibility accommodations you will need. At most trainings we try to provide the following when possible: lunch and snacks, gender neutral bathrooms, ASL interpretation, frequent 5-10 minute breaks, minimal to no stairs, child care, and a separate chill out space. We also generally utilize the following Covid precautions: masking inside the space with KN95 or higher quality mask, eating outdoors, running air purifiers if we have access to them, and rapid testing the morning of each training day (we will provide tests and masks to anyone who does not have access to them). If you are feeling sick or testing positive we ask that you stay home for the safety of all attendees.
