Please note: without parent volunteers to coach and manage we are unable to enter teams, we require coaches and managers for every team prior to entering teams with Tauranga Water Polo in week 1 of Term 4.

Year 7-8 Students

Game Venue: Toi Ohomai Pool, Windermere, Tauranga

Playing dates: Intermediate A & B grade teams play Tuesday nights 20th February to 26th March 2024, Intermediate C grade teams play Friday nights 16th February to 2nd March 2024. 4pm to 7:30pm

Training Venue: Toi Ohomai Pool, Windermere, Tauranga

First training and trial: To be advised but at the beginning of term 1

Term 1 Season Trainings: Likely every Wednesday 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

Year 9-13 Students

Likely separate boys and girls teams.

Game Venue: Baywave and Toi Ohomai, Windermere

Playing Dates: Secondary teams play Thursday nights 15th February to 11th April 2024 4pm to 8:30pm. No games 22nd and 28th March.

Training Venue: Toi Ohomai Pool, Windermere, Tauranga

First training and trial: To be advised but at the beginning of term 1

Term 1 Season trainings:  Likely every Wednesday 7:00pm to 8:00pm.

North Island Secondary School Champs:  Players selected in the tournament team will need to commit to the NISS Champs and the associated costs. Tournament is 22-25 March 2025 in Auckland. 

  

FINANCIAL COMMITMENT

Term 1 2025 Playing fees (based on 2024 but are subject to change)

Approximate Pre-season training fees: 10-14 students: $9 per 1 hr session                                                                                                  15-20 students: $6 per 1 hr session

Approximate season fees:

Years 7-13:   $195 plus pre-season training
Years 9-13 (Senior A Team): $265 plus pre-season training*

[If there are less than 8 players in a team, fees may increase to cover league entry fees and pool hire for training.]

*The Year 9-13 Summer tournament team going in Term 1 will be charged an entry fee, coach fee and any other expenses associated with tournament separately. Another jotform will be sent closer to the time.

Fees are charged upon a student registering and being placed in a team.  If a player decides to withdraw after being placed in a team they will still be liable for full payment. Bethlehem College has to commit to expenses associated with the teams once registrations are completed.

Wear your own togs for the season.
Water Polo caps will be provided by your manager.

NISS players to purchase BC togs.
