NIH Grant Writing Mini-Course
This virtual mini-course will run for 5 Fridays (12-1:30 pm EST) for January 31, February 7, 14, 21 and 28. This mini-course is intended for novice grant writers planning to submit a K or R grant in the next year. If you have experience with submitting grants to NIH already, this mini-course may be too basic for you. Likewise, if you participated in the July 2024 bootcamp, this mini-course may be a repeat.
Mini-Course Topics
Week 1: Getting Started with Your NIH Application. Week 2: Crafting Compelling Specific Aims Pages. Week 3: Developing Your Research Strategy and Targeting Your Application for Peer Review. Week 4: Aligning Training Plans for K Grants. Week 5: Interpreting Summary Statements and Resubmitting Your Application.
Cost and Reimbursement at Course Completion
The fee for participating in this this mini-course is $50 for faculty members/researchers and $35 for postdocs/residents/fellows. If you complete at least 4 of the 5 sessions, your will be reimbursed 80% of this fee. If your application for the mini-course is selected, you will receive an email to submit payment.
