KansABA is driven by new and improved committees that focus on the growth, advocacy, and professional excellence in KansABA. Each committee is composed of volunteer members working toward specific goals—from shaping state legislation to delivering professional development. Discover how our specialized teams work together to support practitioners and expand the impact of ABA services across Kansas.
Conference Committee
The Conference Committee directs the end-to-end planning, logistics, and execution of our signature annual conference. By overseeing every detail from venue selection to programming, this team ensures a seamless experience that brings the behavior analysis community together for our most significant event of the year.
Legislative Committee
Dedicated to advocacy and professional integrity, the Legislative Committee monitors Kansas legislation to uphold high practice standards and expand access to ABA services. This team actively collaborates with Kansas Grassroots Provider Advocacy Group and other regional partners to champion the interests of practitioners and the individuals they serve.
Membership & Outreach Committee
The Membership and Outreach Committee is focused on growing our professional community across Kansas. Beyond recruiting new members, this team manages our social media presence, website, and member communications to ensure every practitioner finds high value and a sense of belonging within our organization.
Marketing & Sponsorship Committee
Serving as the engine behind our branding and fiscal partnerships, the Marketing and Sponsorship Committee coordinates all corporate sponsorships and updates partnership agreements. This team maintains our branding guidelines and creates the essential marketing materials that tell our story and disseminate our mission to the public.
Professional Development Committee
The Professional Development Committee providers valuable opportunities for growth by hosting up to three annual events for CEU/PDU credits and developing exclusive educational resources for our members. The Professional Development Committee also keeps our members at the forefront of the field by monitoring BACB ethics and certification standards for RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBAs, as well as Kansas Licensure.
