As part of your application, there is an interview portion we’d like you to complete. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you better and understand how we can best support your healing goals. Below, you’ll find the interview questions so you can prepare your responses.

1.  Explain how you became interested in the healing intensive.
2.  Describe what healing means to you.
3.  Tell us about your healing journey:  Is this your first stop on your healing journey?  Have you attended any other healing retreats, events, etc.?
Have you participated in any equine-assisted programs?
4.  What are your personal goals for attending the H.O.O.V.E.S. program?--  -What do you hope to achieve or accomplish?
5.  Identify potential obstacles that might impact your ability to implement change in your daily life?  Examples could include personal characteristics, relationships, work-related issues, or other challenges.

Applicant Details 

Disclaimer: Financial assistance for flight travel is not guaranteed and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If your request is approved, you will be required to sign a flight cancellation agreement. This agreement states that if you cancel your H.O.O.V.E.S.-funded flight, you will be responsible for reimbursing H.O.O.V.E.S. the full cost of the flight. Tips for a Smooth Upload
-Use Wi-Fi to avoid upload issues caused by slow mobile data.
-If your video file is too large, consider using a video compression tool before uploading.

1.  Prepare Your Video/Audio/File

-Keep your video between 2-5 minutes long.

-File Types Accepted: pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, csv, txt, rtf, html, zip, mp3, wma, mpg, flv, avi, jpg, jpeg, png, gif, mov, mp4, avi, wmv, mkv, flv, mpeg, 3gp
-Maximum File Size: 500 MB

2.  Upload Your Video/Audio/File

-Scroll down to the Video Application Upload section.
-Click the Browse Files button.

3.  Select Your Video/Audio/Fille

-A pop-up window will appear.

---Navigate to the location on your device where your video is saved.
-Click on the file, then click Open (or Select on mobile).

4.  Wait for Upload Completion

-Depending on your internet speed, it may take a few minutes for the upload to finish.
-Once uploaded, you will see the file name displayed next to the upload button.

In keeping with this, we reserve the right to make determinations about program entry. Please understand that if there is a lack of timely response, non-cooperation, or any form of disrespect as perceived by our staff, it may result in the termination of your application and participation in programs.

Healing Intensive, I understand that **aggressive behavior** toward staff, volunteers, other participants, or animals will not be tolerated under any circumstances. - Verbal harassment
- Abusive or foul language directed toward another person
- Threats of any kind
- Failure to respond to staff instructions
