Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement
In exchange for the right to participate in the Lake Wales Mardi Gras Parade (“The Parade”), the undersigned, a duly authorized representative of Krewe/Organization* , an organization participating in the Parade (“The Organization”) as condition to participate in the Lake Wales Mardi Gras Parade, held on March 1, 2025 to:
1. OBEY ALL INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY PARADE OFFICIALS, MARSHALLS AND THE CITY OF LAKE WALES
2. OBEY ALL LAWS FOR THE PROPER OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO NO DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR BEING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MIND ALTERING DRUGS.
3. BE AT THE ASSEMBLY POINT NO LATER THAN 1:00 PM March 1, 2025
We understand and agree that if we do not comply with the rules of the parade, and the instructions given to us by parade marshals, City of Lake Wales Police Department, our participation I the parade will be terminated and we are not permitted to continue in the parade.

The Lake Wales Mardi Gras Committee reserves the right to deny any application. Once the application has been approved the undersigned agrees there will be no refund of parade fees for any reasons.

Furthermore, in exchange for the right to participate in the Lake Wales Mardi Gras (“The Parade”), the undersigned, a duly authorized Representative of, Krewe/Organization*, an organization participating in the Parade (“the Organization”) agrees Indemnify and hold harmless the Lake Wales Mardi Gras Committee, City of Lake Wales and related entities, all agents, employee and volunteers of solid organization from any claim or expense of whatever kind or nature arising as a parade participant of the undersigned Organization and any of its representative or individual participants. This indemnification and hold harmless agreement shall be governed in all respects under the laws of the State of Florida

No application will be accepted without all requested documentation. No money shall be sent until you have received the approval from the Mardi Gras Committee for you to participate in the event. Any returned checks will be subject to a $35.00 charge and will require the vendor to pay by money order, certified bank check or cash for any future events.
