Primary Principals' Collective Bargaining (PPCB) membership is open to all paid up members of the NZ Principals' Federation.

Some information to begin:

You need to be a member of NZPF in order to be a member of PPCB. if you are a member of NZEi, you need to contact NZEI (nzei@nzei.org.nz) and resign, effective immediately. Please note that there will be a two-pay-cycle stand-down period for NZEI. You will be reconnected with us in the following pay cycle.

The annual fee for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2026, is $315.00.

You join PPCB once at registration and then payment will be made through salary deductions at a low rate of $12.12 per fortnight. Your details will be forwarded to Edpay, and the fortnightly payments will start in the next payroll cycle after you join.

Please note that the fee is reviewed annually, and any changes or increases will take effect in Pay Period 21.

You understand that PPCB is singularly focused on Collective Bargaining. While advice will be available through PPCB about the terms and conditions of the next Collective Agreement, it is not intended to give other legal or industrial advice to members. Should these services be required, membership of the Principals Advice and Support Scheme Limited (PASL) is recommended.

I consent to becoming a member of Primary Principals' Collective Bargaining Union Inc. (PPCB)

I understand that upon acceptance of this application, I am entitled to a copy of the Constitution of PPCB and shall be bound by the relevant sections.In accordance with the Employment Relations Act 2000, I authorise PPCB to act as my representative in all matters relating to the bargaining and enforcement of my employment agreement. I consent to the disclosure of the information given in this form to the authorised officers and agents of PPCB for the purposes of bargaining.

In accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, I consent to the disclosure of information about the terms and conditions of my employment held by the Ministry of Education or my employer to PPCB for the purposes of the efficient delivery of union services by PPCB to me.

I agree to the deduction of $12.12 from my fortnightly salary to cover the annual fee of $315.00. This deduction will commence in the payroll cycle immediately following my registration.
