  • What can I expect from this program?

    There are a few key components, but the primary one is this:

    • All food will be sold in "bundles" or packages to make sure you get the most bang for your buck each time 
    • (we call them batches... get it?) 

    You'll pick the meal size that makes the most sense for you, and then you'll pick your bundle size.  As you go through our checkout process, you'll see how this works, so if it doesn't make sense right now, it's okay; keep reading!

    We've tested our shipments and are confident that they'll get to you safely, but:

    • There is always a chance that something doesn’t work as expected and your food arrives outside of our safety parameters.  So, we’re asking you to keep a special eye out for it!
    • Please make a special effort to receive your package in a timely manner and put it away in the fridge/freezer, respectively!
    • Always check to ensure your food is cold to the touch!  If you are not sure if something is safe, just reach out, and we will help you troubleshoot it.

    As we get started:

    • Things may be slow as we refine our processes! Please be patient as we work to identify and smooth out the kinks in our systems.
    • In the beginning, we're likely to be a little inflexibile to special requests as we finalize our "best case scenario" process, so be patient with us!

    There’s much we don’t know about what you are experiencing, and we need you to be our eyes and ears!

    • When you join, we ask you to offer us your feedback and observations to help make this process as seamless as possible for those who come after!
    • We'll provide a way for you to do this after each order and throughout your experience.

    • Your food goes missing or shows up unsafe to eat.

    • You are are unhappy with your food or experience for any reason!

    We've built a pricing model that we think will work, but we cannot guarantee that we won't update it as we evolve to best meet your needs!

    • Meals offered through our shipping program are likely to be more expensive than in our local delivery range. 
    • Once we complete your setup, we'll send over some personalized discount codes to help bring your costs down as you help us get started! 

    We'll be sure to communicate with you clearly as things change!

  • While we have every intention to make this a great experience for you from start to finish, we’re still finalizing some of the details!  We’re excited to get better together, but as we do so, here are a few things we’re going to ask you to keep in mind:

    b.      Part of your commitment to us here is that you’ll offer us your thoughts, praise, frustration, and other observations to help make this process as seamless as possible for those who come after!

     

    4.    Pricing is Not Finalized Yet

    a.      We’re going to do our best to make this a consistent experience for you, but one of the things we simply haven't locked in yet is how we will price this product line.

    b.     Meals offered through are shipping program are almost certainly going to be more expensive than in our local delivery range.  Between packaging and shipping costs, there really was no way around a price increase to make it happen!

    c.      As we collect feedback and refine our process, our pricing and sales models will be subject to change with those evolutions.  What could that look like?  We’re not sure, but we’ll keep you in the loop as we learn!

  • Introduction Thank you for your interest in participating in our exclusive Beta Test Program (“Program”) for shipping food products. By signing this disclaimer and release, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions, which outline your rights and responsibilities as a participant and release Good Batch Mama (“Company”) from certain liabilities.

    1. Acknowledgment of Risk You acknowledge and understand that the shipping of food products may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

    • Temperature changes during transit that may affect food quality.
    • Possible delays in delivery that may impact food safety.
    • Handling or storage conditions that may affect the freshness or quality of the food.


    2. Voluntary Participation Your participation in this Program is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time. You understand that this Program is a test and that the Company does not guarantee the freshness, quality, or safety of food products received through this Program.

    3. Assumption of Risk By participating in this Program, you assume all risks associated with the shipping and handling of food products, including but not limited to the risks of consumption of food that may have been exposed to adverse conditions during transit.

    4. Release of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, and discharge the Company, its affiliates, employees, agents, and contractors from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from any loss, damage, illness, or injury that you may suffer as a result of your participation in this Program.

    5. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with your participation in this Program, including any claims related to the handling, storage, or consumption of the food products.

    6. Limitations of Program You understand and agree that this Program is a beta test, and as such, the Company makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the quality, safety, or suitability of any food products shipped as part of this Program. The Company does not accept liability for any adverse effects arising from product issues, shipping delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

    7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising from this Agreement or your participation in this Program shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Sullivan County, Tennessee.
