Thank you for requesting approval of your Brainspotting Specialty Workshop or Specialty Group Consultation, and for contributing to the larger Brainspotting community.
To be approved as a Brainspotting Specialty Workshop or Specialty Group Consultation, the program must clearly demonstrate several foundational Brainspotting principles, including:
1. The Neuroexperiential Model of Brainspotting
2. Brainspotting as a Developmental model
3. The Uncertainty Principle
4. Mindfully receiving, shaping, and holding the frame with the client
5. The Dual Attunement Frame
6. Tail of the Comet
7. W.A.I.T
8. The Three Legs of Brainspotting:Outside Window, Inside Window, Gazespotting
9. Focused Mindfulness Processing
Additionally, the presenter must demonstrate expertise in the specialty topic, showcasing both advanced knowledge of Brainspotting principles and the ability to effectively integrate these principles with their specific area of expertise.
Requests for a Brainspotting Specialty Workshop or Specialty Group Consultation approval must be completed by the 1st of the month. All requests will be reviewed, and presenters will receive a preliminary response within the same month from the Specialty Committee. Final approval will be determined by David Grand.
