  • Statement of Faith

  • We believe that there is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator, and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving, and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent – one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
    ‍
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
    ‍
We believe that humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended. Because of this, sickness, death, and judgment entered the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected, and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today in the presence of God the Father and in His people.

We believe that we are saved by God’s grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing, and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and adopts us as we enter the kingdom of God as His sons and daughters.
We believe in the ongoing, sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life and minister super-naturally.

We believe in the victorious, redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy – sin, lies, sickness, and torment.
    ‍
We believe that the Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. He gave His Church the ordinances of baptism and communion. The Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God’s love, and discipling the nations – baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God.
    ‍
We believe in the ever-increasing government of God and in the Blessed Hope, which is the glorious, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to rule and reign with His overcoming bride – the Church.
    ‍
We believe that heaven and hell are real places. There will be a resurrection of the lost and the saved, the one to everlasting death and the other to everlasting life.

    STATEMENT ON BIBLICAL SEXUALITY

We believe that Scripture teaches explicitly and implicitly that God intends for human sexuality to be expressed within the bond of the marriage covenant between one man—born male—and one woman—born female (Gen. 2:22–24; 1 Cor. 7:10–11; Eph. 5:22–33). God’s loving intent for human sexuality can be rightly enjoyed only in the context of this covenantal union (Gen. 2:22–24; Rom. 7:2–3). In contrast, we believe that God has prohibited all forms of sexual intercourse and expression outside of this form of marriage and all kinds of adultery or unfaithfulness within it (Exod. 20:14; 1 Cor. 7:9). This means that we believe that any and all expressions of homosexuality, bisexuality, incest, fornication, adultery, pornography, and bestiality, are distortions of God’s revealed will and purpose for human sexuality (Lev. 18:1–30; Rom. 1:24–27; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9–10, 18–20; Eph. 5:3; Heb. 13:4). Any attempt to act on homosexual desires and temptations or to alter one’s biological sex by surgery or appearance violates God’s will (Gen. 2:22–24; 19:5; 13; Lev. 18:1–30; Rom. 1:24-27; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9–10, 18–20; Heb. 13:4; 1 Thess. 4:1–8). For this reason, Jubilee desires, expects, and will uphold a community in which dress and behavior are in keeping with one’s sex at birth.

At Jubilee, boys/men will use the boys’/men’s bathroom and girls/ladies will use the girls’/ladies’ bathrooms. This includes all students, parents, visitors, staff, and guests.

Jubilee strives to provide an environment marked by speech and behavior that is consistent with biblical teaching, Christian tradition, and the principles of our Biblical Lifestyle Covenant. Jubilee's Biblical Lifestyle Covenant (available for review upon request) is an agreement signed by all staff, faculty, and board members to maintain and to uphold certain Christian moral principles in the classroom, in their personal lives, and in any public statements (e.g., social media). Jubilee does not discriminate on the basis of race, skin color, birth sex, age, disability, or national origin; however, Jubilee reserves the right to refuse applicant admission or to discontinue enrollment of students and/or families who do not support Jubilee's mission and policies.

Our prayer is that those who violate God's will for human sexuality will, through repentance, find the grace of Christ, God's forgiveness, and restoration to a right relationship with Christ, the single way, truth and life, who reconciles us with God our Creator.
