Dawg Gone It Mobile Dock Host Requirements
In order to host a mobile dock, certain accomocations are required.
Required Space for Event
The dock is 8 ft wide by 45 ft long. The pool is 25 ft wide by 45 ft long. This requires a minimum 100 ft long by 80 ft wide space that is both level and flat with an area to drain the water nearby. The required space does NOT include the needed space for competitor staging, admin/check-in, crating space for competitors, spectators, etc. If an event is going to be held indoors, there are additional factors that must be addressed and will need discussed prior to booking.
Event Requirements
DGI must have access to a power source within a reasonable distance. Electricity needs to be able to support any and all equipment required to run the event. This can include, but not limited to, pumps, heater, speakers, computers, etc.
The event host is responsible for the cost of water and setting up delivery. Our standard pool requires about 28,000 gallons of water. This can be accomplished through local fire departments, private water delivery trucks, etc.
DGI must have easy vehicular access to the event and the event area. Competitors may potentially want to drive up to unload crates, canopies, and other gear as well. This designated area should be clearly marked and information provided including access points.
