Downtown Lindsay Mixed Media Art Display Survey
The MMS Community Activator Grant was successfully awarded to Lindsay Downtown Business Improvement Association (the “LDBIA”) for a project titled Continuity of Change– Space Reclaimed. The location is the Lingerie Loft building on the parkette facing wall. Part of the requirements to fulfill the grant requirements is to undertake a data collection for both pre and post the installation of the art project. The project was to award an emerging artist, through a Call for Public Art, to install a second-floor mixed media installation. The goal is to reclaim a highly visible wall, while respecting and celebrating the historic gathering space of Downtown Lindsay.
