Miller Timber Services, Inc. retains a core group of key fireline personnel year-round. These wildland firefighters perform fire, fuels, and forestry work throughout the year.
These supervisors serve as the backbone of Miller Timber’s fire program, assisting with fire training courses, fire cache rehab, and pre-season preparations to ensure all equipment remains in a state of ready for rapid deployments.
This position is open to qualified crew superivsors- CRWB, ENGB, or FFT1 (Year-Round Fire and Forestry) that meet the minimum qualifications.
- Proficient with a chainsaw
- More than one season of previous wildland firefighting experience
- Qualified as Squad Boss FFT1, Engine ENGB, or Crew Boss CRWB
- Have a valid driver’s license with insurable driving history
- Willing to travel nationwide
- Eager to continuously learn new skills
- Remain drug-free and submit to testing upon request (includes marijuana)
- Team player with a positive attitude
