Art After 3 Spring 2023 Registration

stART fresh at Illinois Art Station with a one-day, drop-off Winter Break Camp for young artsits ages 6-12 on Friday, January 3, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Ring in the New Year with a full day of art exploration and creation with IAS educators.

Who: Young Artists ages 6-12 who are resolute to stART the New Year off by learning new artmaking skills and getting introduced to new artmaking ideas.

Cost: $50 / young artist. Illinois Art Station operates according to a Pay-What-You-Can model for all classes, camps, and programs. More details are below.

A morning snack will be provided. Artists must bring their own lunch. Food assistance is available for those who request it.

When: Friday, January 3 from 9:00 – 4:00 p.m. Early drop off available at 8:30 a.m. and late pick up available until 4:30 p.m.

Registration for Fresh stART Winter Break Camp at IAS is limited to (20) young artists. Deadline to register is Saturday, December 21.

NOTE: If you are registering more than one young artist, a complete registration form must be submitted for each participating child.

We believe that ART is a universal language than can transcend communication barriers. Illinois Art Station can only consistently offer art education instruction in English at this present time, but we want to anticipate and meet the needs of our young artists as we can. Illinois Art Station is committed to ensuring that young artists and families from all neighborhoods and backgrounds have access to transformative experiences in the visual arts regardless of their ability to pay. To achieve this access, IAS offers a pay-what-you-can model for class registration. We know that IAS families who are able to financially support the Illinois Art Station and our programs will do so happily. We also know that our IAS families who require assistance will benefit greatly from a flexible pricing structure. Your tuition—no matter the total—will help cover the costs of expert planning/facilitation, materials, site maintenance, and everything else that makes IAS programming so great. AND, any additional funds will help sponsor the cost of hands-on art engagement for young artists and families who require reduced or free tuition. The full price of one day of Winter Break Camp at IAS is $50/young artist.

Any payment higher than the recommended totals will be considered a donation to support current and future IAS programs. Any payment less than the recommended totals (as low as $0) will still allow for your young artist’s participation in the program. Families with an annual household income less than $36,000 or who qualify for free/reduced lunch should feel welcome to pay less than the recommended amount.
