  • After our first couple of indoor markets, Art Bazaar will be returning to Lambton Park in 2025 on Sunday 30 November. This is our much-loved Christmas market where you will always find a selection of unique artisan Christmas gifts and treats. Please note one week before the market the location could change to our indoor venue depending on the weather forecast.

    Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaar is a high quality artisan market that has been held since 2002. Become one of the stallholders at this event who are all from the Hunter region of NSW. All stallholders are creative makers who have been selected by Hunter Arts Network because of their unique, handmade, high quality and original work. While wandering the stalls, enjoy live entertainment, food trucks and coffee. Art Bazaar continually brings the handmade art community to loyal followers who find gifts or treats for themselves, while meeting the local Hunter makers and artists they are supporting.

    Hunter Arts Network is run by a dedicated committee of volunteers who have also worked hard to celebrate all modalities of visual arts and the committee that has come together continues to do an amazing job to make this happen.

    Applications for stallholders are now open and new stallholders are always welcome to apply. The stall fee is a very affordable $80.00

    HAN membership

    All stallholders need to first apply for a Hunter Arts Network membership. 

    This membership fee also includes your public liability insurance for your stall at Art Bazaar (The membership year runs from 1 January - 31 December and will need to re-join the following year).

    We now also provide help to unload and re-load your vehicle! (Thanks to Newcastle Men’s Shed)

    When you join HAN you are joining a community of like-minded members with the support of a hard working committee and HAN is Not-for-profit

    *The fees for membership are:
    $65 for individuals
    $90 for groups of 3 or less
    $110 for large groups, galleries, businesses or community organisations.

    - The committee organises a comprehensive advertising campaign for each event including radio advertising on 2NUR, Facebook and Instagram advertising, A4 poster distribution, regular EDM's, website updates, socials posts, stories and events, and adding the event to many online events websites.

    Only financial members of HAN will be considered – so join now! Membership is $65 for individuals, $90 for groups of 3 or less, and $110 for groups and organisations over 3 people.

  • By applying and being accepted to Art Bazaar you agree to the rules and conditions of each event as follows:

    Bump in Between 6.30am and 8.00am. You must finish set up by 9am. Closer to the event date your exact bump in time will be emailed to you
    Bump out 3pm. You must not start to pack up and bump out before 3pm.
    Parking After bump in please move your car to the on-street parking
    Floor Plan Detailed floor plan and stall locations will be emailed closer to the event date and are subject to change without notification.
    Furniture Stallholders must provide all their own furniture for their display.
    Security Stallholders will be responsible for their own stalls and HAN will not be liable for any loss, damage or theft to your stalls.
    Fixing methods Stallholders will be liable for any damage to the venue due to negligence.

    Please help us promote Art Bazaar! Assist us by distributing our DL flyers, A1 corflutes and A3 posters which will be available soon, and also our share, join and invite friends to our Facebook event, and download our web banner to upload to your website and socials including Facebook covers on your profile and page

    Wet Weather and Rescheduled events

    -       Art Bazaar will not be held on days where poor weather is occurring at 7.00am when a decision will be made. 

    -       If a decision is made prior to the day, stallholders will receive a refund or the payment will be applied to a rescheduled date

    -       Stallholders who turn up when a decision has been made on the morning not to proceed, will have their stall fee refunded

    -       If a decision has been made on the day of the event not to proceed a committee member will remain at the location from 7.00am for one hour to inform stallholders & record who has arrived

    -       Stallholders who do not arrive because of self-assessment of weather conditions, will not receive any refund.

    -       HAN will post updates on social media & website

    -       Stalholders who cancel for ANY reason within 10 days of the event will not receive a refund

    If inclement weather or forecast renders Art Bazaar impossible, Hunter Arts Network has the right to postpone Art Bazaar and all stallholder fees will be transferred to a rescheduled date. If a stallholder is unable to attend the rescheduled date they need to contact Hunter Arts Network ten (10) days prior to the rescheduled date to receive a refund.

    WH&S All stallholders must stay within their stall floor space area, and displays must not protrude outside of this area. Stallholders must only market their business/brand within their stall area and not walk around marketing their brand or products.
    Displays All trestle tables must be covered. Stall layout and design must be of high quality and visually pleasing. All signs must look professional.
    Payment deadline Applications are due six weeks prior to each event & once accepted we will issue an invoice. Payment is required three weeks prior to each event. When paying please quote the reference number on the invoice. Payment is accepted via direct deposit, cheque or money order &is required to ensure your stall space is confirmed.
