Instagram Take Over

Send in 3 to 6 Images

Make sure your images are no bigger than 2MB

Photos must ONLY be in jpg form

Msure you name your file firstname_second_00.jpg 

Make sure you own the right to use the image.

Eligibility

1.Participants must be between the ages of 13 and 25 at the time of application.

2. Participants under 16 must have parental consent to participate.

 

Application Process

3. To enter, submit your application through our designated form by the specified deadline.

4. All applications must include photos of your own photography work.

 

Selection

5. Selected participants will be notified via direct message on Instagram or via email.

6. Selection is made by the Photoworks team and is based on the quality of responses to the theme, the ability to tell a story through image-making, and overall creativity. 

 

Takeover Guidelines

7. Participants must enter original content related to the agreed theme.

8.  All participants must have consent from any people featured in their images before entering.

9. All images must adhere to Instagram’s community guidelines.

 

Content Ownership

10. Participants retain ownership of their submitted content, but grant us the right to share it on our platforms with credit.

11. By participating, you agree that your content may be used for promotional purposes.

 

Conduct
12. Participants must maintain a respectful and positive tone in all interactions.

13. Any form of harassment, hate speech, or inappropriate content will lead to immediate disqualification.

 

Liability

14. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Photoworks from any claims arising from their content.

 

Privacy
15. Personal information collected will only be used for the purpose of this takeover and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

 

Amendments
16. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

 

Agreement
17. By applying for the takeover, participants agree to these terms and conditions.

I understand that:  

my image and personal data will be held in accordance with all legislation and regulatory requirements in force from time to time relating to the use of personal data, including (without limitation) any data protection legislation from time to time in force in the UK including without limitation: 
(i)  the UK GDPR (which has the meaning given to it in section 3(10) (as supplemented by section 205(4)) of the DPA 2018); 

(ii)  the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018);  

(iii)  the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (SI2003/2426) as amended;  

and the guidance and codes of practice issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office and which are applicable to a party.

I have the right to withdraw my consent at any time by emailing photoworks.lab@photoworks.org.uk but understand that withdrawing consent may not affect the material that has already been used.
