    Waiver & Release of Liability

  • I,   *   *   , have provided accurate information regarding my hair history, allergies, and lifestyle.

    - I understand that hair extensions are a cosmetic service and that individual results may vary.

    - I understand the potential risks associated with hair extensions, which include but are not limited to: allergic reaction to the hair or bonding agent, scalp irritation, hair breakage or loss due to improper care or failure to attend maintenance appointments.

    - I release stylist from and all liability for any damage to my hair or scalp that may result from my failure to follow the aftercare and maintenance instructions provided.

    - I understand that the hair extension service is non-refundable once the application has begun. The cost of the hair extensions themselves is also non-refundable as they are ordered specifically for me.

    - I consent to have photos and/or videos taken of my hair before, during, and after the service for promotional purposes. I can revoke this consent at any time in writing.

  •  The Application Process


    Your stylist Michaela Lafleur has recommended a specific method of hair extension application based on your hair type, condition, and desired look. The process will involve the attachment of hair extensions to your natural hair. This process can take several hours. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions before the application begins.

    I understand that the service is final once the application is started. Once the hair has been fitted to your head the hair can no longer be returned.
     
    In the event that I no longer want to wear/have the extensions, I am still responsible for the total payment of the services performed.
     
    I acknowledge that I have been informed on the proper care and maintenance for my Hair Extensions.

    I understand that a deposit of 50% of the total amount for the hair is due prior to booking my appointment. I understand that this deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. I agree to pay the remaining balance of my hair and service on the day of my installation appointment.
     
    I agree to let my stylist know of any allergies and I understand that if any allergic reactions occur, my stylist is not responsible. Including but no limited to silicone or metal allergies or contact dermatitis.

    Aftercare & Maintenance Agreement


    Proper aftercare is crucial to the longevity and health of your hair extensions and your natural hair. It is HIGHLY recommended to use professional grade products that are sulphate-free and paraben free. A moisture shampoo, hydrating conditioner followed by a leave in conditioner and heat protector prior to drying your hair. Make sure to towel dry your hair as much as possible before using a blow dryer. Finish off with a light oil treatment on mid-shaft & ends.

    • I agree to use the recommended professional-grade aftercare products.
    • I agree to never cut, remove, color, perm, or use any other chemicals on my extensions other than what my stylist has approved.
    • I understand that I must brush my hair extensions daily with the recommended brush to prevent matting.
    • I will tie my hair in a loose ponytail or braid before sleeping.
    • I will avoid going to bed with wet hair extensions.
    • I will schedule and attend regular maintenance appointments as recommended by my stylist.
    • I understand that failure to follow aftercare instructions can result in damage to my natural hair and the extensions, for which the stylist is not liable.
    • I understand that some natural shedding of my own hair is normal and will be more noticeable at maintenance appointments.
    • Hot tools are safe to use but should not exceed 350F.
    • Avoid chemical-based sunscreens as it can discolour the hair. We recommend using mineral-based sunscreens.
