Student Expectations
Respect & Manners
- Be polite to instructors, staff and other students.
- Bow when entering and leaving the training area.
- Listen carefully when an instructor is speaking.
- No arguing, rude language, or disruptions.
- Follow all school traditions and class rules.
Safety First
- Active listening to instructions and follow immediately, from Instructors and Staff- this will ensure correct technique is completed and can prevent accidents from happening.
- No rough play, unsafe moves or practicing techniques or weapons without permission.
- Use control when practing technique- the mission is to master technique for defense and not to ensure your training partner.
- Wear required protective gear when needed for session.
- Immediately report to instructor if you are feeling hurt, sick or unsafe.
- Immdiately stop training when the instructor says "STOP".
Good Behavior
Martial Artists are calm, kind and focused.
- No bullying, teasing or hurtful words will be tolerated in class.
- No excessive talking or horeseplaying while in class.
- Treat everyone with kindness and respect.
- If there is a problem, tell an instructor to resolve conflict.
Uniform & Cleanliness
Looking neat shows a great representation of oneself and the first step in discipline.
- Wear a clean uniform to every class.
- Long hair must be tied back to prevent and safety issues.
- Nailed must be trimmed short and good body odor.
- No jewelry (except for religious, culture), watches, rings or any sharp objects are to be worn.
Being on Time
Being on Time shows respect
- Arrive early and be ready in train in full uniform.
- If you are late, ask permission before joining class.
- Stay in class until the instructor dismisses you.

Tuesdays:
5:45pm-6:45pm: White/Stripes/Yellow Belts
6:55pm-7:55pm: Orange and Up Belts
Thursdays:
5:00pm-6:00pm:White/Stripes/Yellow Belts
6:00-7:00pm: Orange and Up Belts
&:00-8:00pm: Adult Self-Defense Classes
Training the right way
- Always give your best.
- CONFIDENCE is KEY.
- Safely is the most important.
Belts & Rank
Belts are earned through effort and respect.
- Only wear belts presented through One Unit CKC.
- Promotions are decided by Instructor.
- Respect all ranks!
- Do not compare or brag about rank to peers.
School Property
Take care of the School
- Treat equipment and the training area with care.
- Put equipment away after every use.
- Pack your equipment in your bags and store neatly.
- Only WATER is allowed on the training floor.
Outside the School
Students represent the school everywhere they go.
- Bad behavior outside the school can still affect your training here.
What Happens If Rules Are Broken
If rules are not followed , consequences may include;

Probation period -(belt can be removed temporarily during this time.)

Fees/Payments
One time Registration Fee; $35.00- this will be paid during registration, along with first month class.
Monthly Fee- $75.00
Adult Self Defense-$45.00 per session.
Uniform fee-$40.00 (option to be paid during registration on after student is in class). Can wear sweats and t-shirt until uniform is purchased.
Promotion Fee- $35 *Must be paid in full at least 7 days before promotion date.
Competition Team
Instructor will speak with parents/guardians in regards to the Competition Team. Competition is NOT MANDATORY.
Parent/Guardian Expectations
- Ensure your child arrives on time and in proper uniform.
- Support programs and rules and expectations as examples for your students.
- Communicate any concerns with the Instructor through email, phone, or request a time to have a one-on-one.
- Pick students up promptly at the end of scheduled time.
