Excellence in Teaching about Agriculture Award Nomination Form
Nominate a teacher who is excelling at incorporating agriculture into their classroom for the Velma M. Clarke Excellence in Teaching about Ag Award! The purpose of this award is to recognize a Maryland preK-8 teacher for his/her excellent job in incorporating agriculture into his/her core curriculum. Once you nominate a teacher, MAEF will reach out via email to that teacher to encourage them to submit an application. The teacher selected for our 2025 award will receive a $500 stipend to purchase classroom materials, as well as up to a $1800 scholarship towards attendance to the 2025 National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference in Minneapolis, MN June 23-26, 2025
