1. Use of the church facilities and assets by Story Church for its events takes precedence over all other usages and approvals (for example an unexpected funeral). However, Story Church will make every effort to schedule around existing approvals.
2. The principal parties of the event must be personally interviewed before approval is given.
3. No use of the Facilities, including building, assets and property will be approved that is seen to be in violation of or contrary to, the letter or spirit of the Statement of Faith, Constitution and Bylaws of Story Church.
4. No assets approved for use may be removed from the building unless specific written permission is given to do so.
5. The fire rating occupancy approval for the church building is 234 for the main floor and 150 for the lower floor and must not be exceeded.
6. Only the main floor of the church auditorium is handicapped accessible and equipped. If handicapped access is required for other areas of the building, the application will not be approved and alternate facilities should be sought.
7. No alcoholic beverages or illegal substances are to be served or consumed in the church buildings or property.
8. The church buildings and property is a no smoking zone.
9. You will be charged a building use fee based on the amount listed above. A damage deposit of $500 is required to complete your booking and will be returned unless the building is not restored to the pre-use condition or is damaged.
10. The fees charged do not include liability insurance. It is the responsibility of the applicant to obtain insurance to cover the event(s).
11. The building areas used must be cleaned and restored to the pre-use condition before the end of the day on which they are used.
12. Applications are subject to review and a response will be given within two weeks.
