Operations Manager

West Wimmera Shire Council has an exciting full-time opportunity for an Operations Manager, responsible for leading and overseeing Council Operations with respect to waste management, stores, parks and gardens, workshop, plant, emergency response and delivery of the capital works and maintenance program.

Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, Development and Works, the Operations Manager will have:

A qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (Project Management, Civil Engineering or Construction Management)
Demonstrated contemporary experience in the design and delivery of Capital Works Programs.
Demonstrated contemporary experience in project and contract management
Proven ability to champion and implement change at all levels of an organisation and foster a culture of continuous improvement
High level relationship building and stakeholder management skills, with extensive experience in leading operational teams
