Donegal Summer Mission

21st - 25th July 2025
Before you begin

You will need the following information to complete this application form:
- Details of any medical conditions, allergies and medication
- The name, address and email of two referees who are over 21 and not a family member
- GP's information - name/address/phone number
- You will also need to be available for the team meetings
Safeguarding Requirements
- You will need to have completed both a MCI Safeguarding Training Session AND a Garda Vetting Check within the last 3 years
- You can see the available dates & sign up for Safeguarding Training here.
- You can download the Garda Vetting Application Pack here.
- If you are under-18, your parent/guardian will also need to complete the Garda Vetting Parental Consent Form, which you can download here.
- Please start this process as soon as possible - if your Garda certificate hasn't come through before the Mission Week, you will not be able to attend.

Brief Overview:

What is Donegal Summer Mission?

IMYC are partnering with the Donegal, Ballintra and Inver Methodist Circuit to coordinate a Summer Mission event in July 2025. We are inviting young leaders who are eager to use their gifts, skills and talents to apply for this team!

Successful applicants will head to Donegal this summer to help plan and lead a Children’s Holiday Bible Club and a Youth Ministry Programme - as well as spending dedicated time together as a team to learn practical skills and grow in faith.

The Donegal Summer Mission offers a unique opportunity for young people across Ireland to come together and develop their skills helping local churches.

As part of the training for the Holiday Bible Club the team will be encouraged to attend Overflow, the Methodist Church in Ireland's young leader training weekend (7th-9th February 2025).

💰Cost: £100 / €110 (this covers your food, accommodation*, programme costs for the week & your ticket to Overflow 2025!)

*Accommodation will be the Church Hall Floors
