2025 WeHo Arts Newsletter Advisory Form

This form is required for all grantees. It gives us the information we need to be able to effectively assist in marketing your presentations.
Please submit this form once the details of your presentation are secure and confirmed. This is a requirement of your grant.

Submit this form BEFORE the 10th of the month PRIOR to your event. (ie, if your event is on June 30th, you would submit by May 10th)

The Newsletter Form alerts Arts Division staff, in a concise manner, to upcoming events and answers only the important questions: Who, What, When, Where, How, Why, and How Much.

Information provided on this form will be used to create the online calendar listings on the City Website. The information is also distributed via the West Hollywood Arts Division public e-newsletter. (Subscribe here!)

Newsletter Info Forms not completed and submitted by the deadline will not be listed in the City's online calendar.

City Acknowledgement - Arts Grantees

GRANTEES are required to incorporate the City logo on all printed and digital materials related to the funded project.

Required Language: The words “This (concert, exhibition, performance and/or program) is supported in part by an arts grant from the City of West Hollywood.” Must be included.

Use of Photographs and Personal Statements
With reference to photographs and/or personal statements of individuals to be used in marketing materials, appropriate consent from the subject should be obtained and is the sole responsiblity of the GRANTEE.

Additionally, we strongly encourage you to tag @WeHoArts in social media posts (Facebook and Instagram) to extend the reach of your program.
INFORMATION FOR NEWSLETTER AND CALENDAR
WHO:*
(grantee, artist, artist collective, curator, organization or producer, etc.)
TITLE OF EVENT/PROGRAM:*
The headline or title of the event/program should be short and descriptive.
WHEN:*
If your presentation involves a range of dates, use the FIRST date of the presentation.
TIME:*
Be sure to include the time doors open, start time, and end time.
WHERE:*
Enter the Location of the event(venue name and address). If it is a digital presentation, provide the reservation link or platform.
Descriptive Blurb (max 200 words)

Please provide a short blurb about your presentation. Use the 3rd person tense for these descriptions and avoid ALL CAPS.This is your invitation to the public, so be sure to highlight the uniqueness and specialness of your presentation. Be sure to include the required language, "This project is supported in part by an arts grant from the City of West Hollywood"0/300

Please check your contract and application to note if you had indicated you were planning to present a free program or not. In particular most WeHo Pride (formerly One City One Pride) funded projects were intended to be free as is in the spirit of providing accessible programming during pride month.

The event page is the specific page that we can direct people to for more info. This can be a facebook event, a page on your website, or any other page that has all the details of the project. Be sure to include the relevant language and City of West Hollywood logo on your page. This may be the same url as the RSVP link.
