SUMMER HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS

Since 2020, The Actors Division has provided the best acting training for young actors in the country. Our staff are not only working industry professionals, but are also passionate and experienced educators with a unique pedagogy that enables our ensemble to pursue successful careers in the entertainment industry. This is the first of two workshops that will be available to new and existing ensemble members at The Actors Division.
3 DAY SCREEN WORKSHOP

AGES 11-13

With the rise of streaming and rapid turnaround content for young people, knowing how to self tape and audition is paramount to a young actor’s success. This Summer, The Actors Division is proud to be offering a 3 day screen workshop that will empower the next generation of young performers, equipping them with the skills they’ll need to be ready when casting calls.

Over the course of three jam-packed days, actors will learn how to shoot auditions at home, how to break down a script and make bold choices, light, frame and direct actors on camera, grasp the fundamentals of the General American accent and walk away with a showreel scene ready for casting.

Parents will be invited to attend the final hour of the workshop for a screening at The Actors Division’s state of the art film studio in Crows Nest.
