If Advanced Testing Pre-Authorization is selected, Safety Services Management (SSM) is authorized to perform additional MX908 mass spectrometry testing when field observations indicate a higher likelihood of illicit drug contamination. Additional testing will be billed at the applicable rate.

Advanced testing may be performed when conditions such as positive or inconclusive screening results, known or suspected drug activity, unknown powders or residues, drug paraphernalia, or other elevated risk indicators are observed.
