Here's a simplified and reader-friendly version of the Participation Agreement for TrialMentor:
TrialMentor Participation Agreement
Welcome to TrialMentor's educational sessions! We are excited to have you join us. To ensure a respectful and productive environment, we’ve outlined some key points we'd like you to agree to.
1. What's Confidential?
During these sessions, you’ll hear a lot about clinical trials, including some sensitive information from Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and Sponsors. We ask you to keep this information private. When we say "Confidential Information," we mean anything discussed in our sessions isn’t public knowledge.
2. Why Keep It Confidential?
The reason we ask you to keep this information to yourself is that it’s shared to help you learn more about clinical trials. It's important to respect the privacy of the organizations and individuals sharing their expertise.
3. How to Treat This Information
Please don’t share anything you learn here with people outside the session, unless you have written permission from the person who shared it.
Remember, these sessions are voluntary and should be a safe space for everyone to learn and ask questions freely.
4. What If There's a Breach?
If confidential information gets out, it can hurt the companies involved and violate their trust. If this happens:
You may be responsible for any damages caused.
You might have to cover any legal costs related to the breach.
Your institution's participation in the sessions could be suspended or terminated.
5. Legal Matters
This agreement is governed by the laws of Germany. If there’s a dispute, it will be handled according to German legal procedures.
6. Privacy and Changes
We take privacy seriously and comply with all relevant privacy laws. If there’s a need to change this agreement, we’ll do it with everyone’s consent.
By joining our sessions, you agree to these terms. We’re here to create an enriching learning environment, and by respecting these guidelines, you help make that possible for everyone involved.
Thank you for being part of TrialMentor!
