  • About the nonprofit:

    New Frontier Ventures Community Impact Foundation Incorporated, 501(c)(3) nonprofit urban and community development corporation is an arm of the emerging New Frontier Ventures Corp. NFV Community Impact Foundation is focused on the holistic development, empowerment, and advancement of black communities. The uniqueness of NFV Community Impact Foundation is while based in Chicago, and working primarily in the Chicaogland and Northwest Indiana area, provides service, support, and empowerment to communities within its targeted audience throughout the US. 

    NFV Community Impact Foundation will ultimately provide a full suite of community and urban development services, programs, and initiatives purposed to uplift communities that have struggled to recover from historic disinvestment, bringing forth new mixed-use development, affordable housing development and homeownership, economic development, small business support, educational empowerment, etc. Focused on neighborhood revitalization, advocacy and community engagement, real estate development, affordable housing development, economic development, and social services and education, NFV Community Impact Foundation will work to uplift and build communities of tomorrow through the holistic investment in the quality of life for black communities. Ultimately, as an organization our goal is to leverage local-driven economic and community development to build and sustain local neighborhood economies, such as local regenerative economies.

    The Overview of the Board of Directors:

    The Board of Directors for NFV Community Impact Foundation will serve a crucial role in guiding the organization's mission, governance, and strategic planning. OVerall Board of Directors will be expected to do the following: 

    • Fiduciary Responsibilities
    • Mission and Strategic Planning
    • Financial Oversight and Fundraising
    • Governance and Policy
    • Advocacy and Community Engagement
    • Meetings and Participation
    • Risk Management

    The Board of Directors will work cohesively with the Executive Leadership to ensure the success adn thriving of the organization.
