  • Returning North Carolina Native Plants to Piedmont Landscapes with Charlotte Glen

    Join us November 5th as we give thanks to our Raleigh community! We also welcome, Charlotte Glen, NC State Extension Master Gardener℠ (EMG) Program Manager and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Horticultural Science at NC State University. In her talk, Charlotte will be providing the principles for gardening with natives and suggestions to help cultivate a beautiful, sustainable garden that benefits people and the planet.

    WHEN: Please plan to arrive at 10:30am to check in, find a seat and mingle with fellow RGC members. Meeting begins promptly at 11am.

    FEES:

    $26 to attend + catered lunch

    $10 to attend (no lunch)

    You will have the option to purchase a catered lunch below. We encourage all lunches and attendance fees to be purchased ahead of time, however we will accept cash, checks and credit card on site. The attendance fee is included in the price for the lunch. Going forward, all checks must be made out to "Raleigh Garden Club;" not "RGC"

    ONLY REGISTERED GUESTS WILL BE SERVED LUNCH. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we can no longer provide lunch for walk-in members or guests.

    There will be a small convenience fee if a credit card is used

    PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU CAREFULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL LUNCH DESCRIPTIONS before making your selection, as substitutions will no longer be accomodated after registration closes. We are happy to offer several different lunch options, but please double check and confirm your choice BEFORE you complete your registration.

    Homemade desserts will also be available during the meeting. While the University Club allows us to bring our own desserts, we are NOT allowed to bring any other food or beverages to the meeting due to the State Health Code. It is not recommended to consume these desserts if you are allergy-sensitive. Thank you to those who volunteered this month to bake.

    DEADLINE TO REGISTER AND/OR CANCEL IS THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30TH. Per our registration policy, if cancellation occurs after the deadline date or you do not show up to the meeting, attendee is responsible for cost of lunch and/or attendance fee.
