  • The Food Box contains 1 month supply of non-perishable items which includes rice, wheat flour, pasta, oil, sugar, tomato sauce, lentils and salt.

    Time: First Sunday of each month from 12 PM to 1 PM, unless announced otherwise.
    Location: 22149 Davis Dr Suite #180, Sterling, VA 20164.

  • Rules and Conditions - Please Read Carefully

    1. You MUST be Zakah-eligible to register for this program.
    2. Only residents of Loudoun County (Sterling, Ashburn, Leesburg) and Fairfax County (Herndon, Reston, Chantilly, Centerville, Fairfax) will be served. We cannot serve residents from outside these areas.
    3. ID will be checked - Please bring your Drivers License that shows your name, photo and your address. We cannot serve you if you do not have an ID. Your ID MUST match the name that has been registered.
    4. No Proxies allowed - you cannot ask someone else to pick up your food box. Only those individuals that are physically present at the event will be served. We will NOT hold boxes for anyone.
    5. We will NOT distribute any food boxes before 12 PM.
    6. Boxes will be distributed on a first-come first-serve basis. Registration does NOT guarantee a box. We have limited supplies.
    7. You MUST register for each month in which you want to receive a food box.
    8. The pickup date is the first Sunday of the month, unless announced otherwise.
    9. Maximum ONE box per registration.

  • The food program is funded by Zakah funds from the community. Please only register if you are Zakah eligible.

    - Who can receive Zakah?

    1. The poor (al-fuqarâ’), meaning low-income or indigent.
    2. The needy (al-masâkîn), meaning someone who is in difficulty.
    3. Zakat administrators.
    4. Those whose hearts are to be reconciled, meaning new Muslims and friends of the Muslim community.
    5. Those in bondage (slaves and captives).
    6. The debt-ridden.
    7. In the cause of God.
    8. The wayfarer, meaning those who are stranded or traveling with few resources.
