Number of volunteers: 2 female volunteers between 18-30 years old

Purpose of the project:

Our project aims at connecting the local youth inside the social structure of Gaziantep while utilising European values together with sport, teamwork and language-related activities
Offering a new, fun and interesting way for the local youth to discover life and cooperation inside a connected and vivid European culture and social structure while offering a relaxed and fun environment for everybody to participate
The project's purpose is not only to connect the local youth to modern Europe through language courses and english-related workshops and animation but also to create a safe and entertaining place for learning and exchanging ideas, dreams and information with the goal of building a better tomorrow both for Gaziantep and for Europe

Proposed activities during the project:

English language-club
Mosaic workshops
Turkish language class
Cooperative sewing workshops
Evaluation meetings
Booklet creation

Participants profile:

We are looking for volunteers, who will be suitable for teamwork, have communication skills and can participate in workshops with children and teenagers. The volunteer should also be interested in assisting teachers in English classes while displaying empathy, mindfulness and patience.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements:

Maximum travel reimbursement for Azerbaijan: 275 €
You will stay at a house with other volunteers. At the house, all facilities are available (hot water, natural gas, etc). The volunteers will be accommodated in rooms of 2 to 4 persons. Kitchenware and cutlery will also be provided.
The volunteer will receive a food allowance and monthly pocket money, the height of which will be disclosed in the project.
