If the attorney has any questions whatsoever prior to filing, or the attorney fells they need to speak with you before then, rest assured the attorney will reach out to you.

Even if the attorney feels as though nothing is needed prior to filing, the attorney will reach out to you before your court date to discuss matters with you, and answer any questions you may have. In other words, you will still have an opportunity to speak with your attorney well in advance of, and prior to the court date.
