Things to Know

Thank you for volunteering for the Newcastle Show 2026
- The Newcastle Show runs over three consecutive days.
- You must commit to at least one timeslot.
- No Vehicles are permitted onsite during the show from 9am to 10pm unless authorised.
- Free parking is available at Richardson Park opposite the Showgrounds.
- Please note that a completed Volunteer Form is not a guarantee of acceptance.
- Minimum age for Volunteers is 16 years.
- A Working with Children Check required for anyone 18 years and over.
- Information and Induction sessions will be held for all volunteers. This is compulsory for all volunteers
- All volunteers are supplied one meal voucher and water per shift.
- All volunteers working for 3+ hours receive a complimentary ticket for their guest to come and enjoy the Show with you.
- Volunteers wishing to work with animals need to be confident around all sized animals.
Please note: Completion of this form does not guarantee acceptance to the event. If you are accepted you will be notified by email.
