We are seeking a patient, dependable, and experienced caregiver to support an 11-year-old child with autism in both home and school routines. This role is ideal for someone with a background in special needs education, childcare, or caregiving who is passionate about helping children thrive.
Responsibilities
*Assist with morning and after-school routines
*Provide safe transportation to and from school and activities
*Prepare simple meals and snacks
*Engage the child in structured, developmentally appropriate activities
*Provide consistent supervision and support
*Light tidying of areas used during the shift (toys, crafts, dishes used)
Requirements
*Experience working with children with special needs
*Patient, calm, and nurturing personality
*Reliable and punctual
*Must have own vehicle, valid driver’s licence, and safe driving record
*Flexible hours and available at short notice when (school or schedule) changes, and able to adapt to the child’s needs

Household Management

• Sweep, mop, dust and maintain cleanliness throughout the home

• Assist the child with the morning routine
