Please complete this form to apply to rent the StoveFactory Gallery. You will hear from the AGC within 5 business days to confirm your application has been received. From there, please allow time for approval and scheduling. The further you can submit your application in advance of your requested dates, the better.
To request an appointment to see the space in person, please email contact@artistsgroupofcharlestown, and a volunteer will assist you. Fees for rentals depend on several factors including scheduling and length of use. We will price out your rental if we have approved your application. We are a non-profit, 501c3 organization and any rental fees we incur help the AGC pay rent and utilities on our Gallery. Rental fees charged are not considered a tax-deductible donation, as ‘goods and services’ qualify as rendered in exchange for the rental fee.
Please refer to our gallery rental structure below.
SAFETY & FACILITY REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS
If the Artist wishes to serve alcoholic beverages at any point during their exhibition, the Artist must hire at their own expense a T.I.P.S. Certified and Insured Bartender to serve. A short list of recommended local bartenders who have served with us before can be provided upon request. Self-serve alcohol is not allowed due to our limited liability policy as a small non-profit organization.
The Artist is responsible for all clean-up, trash removal, and any necessary repairs from the exhibition (details and instructions to follow).
The Artist is responsible for gallery sitting, or recruiting and training their own gallery sitters. Gallery must never be left unattended/unlocked.
The Artist hangs their show themselves and/or recruits helpers. The AGC does not automatically provide volunteers. The 9' gallery ladder is provided with the loan of the space.
A Gallery Team member will show you how to maneuver and adjust the lights and lamps on the tracks using the 9' ladder.
DEPOSIT
The Renter will be required to sign our Gallery Rental Agreement. A $100 deposit is required in case of damage to the gallery and its contents. The deposit will be refunded upon post exhibition inspection providing the gallery remains in proper condition.
