We have limited bears available; participation will be first come first serve, and we will reach back out to confirm your participation once the form closes on February 7.
Now that you understand the task at hand, here are key details about the process:
- SUBMIT THE FORM: By submitting this form, you are signing up your org to have a Bruin that you all will "build." Please only submit one form. The form will close on February 7th at noon.
- PICKING UP YOUR BRUIN: Come to the Gabhart flex space (on the ground floor of the Gabhart Student Center—the previous bookstore) on February 10-14 to retrieve your bruin. You can then take it back to your team to outfit it. You should have about a week to give your bruin a makeover.
- RETURNING THE BRUIN: We are asking all bruins to be returned to the Gabhart flex space by noon on Wednesday, February 19. The office will be open starting at 8am for you to drop off your bruin.
- DISPLAYING THE BRUINS: We will be displaying all the submitted bruins at the Build-A-Bruin event for students in the Beaman Lobby on the 22nd if you want to come check out the competition!
- PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD: We will have winners in two categories: Student Organization & Campus Offices/Departments.
- REMEMBERING OUR MISSION: After Homecoming week, we will be donating all submitted bruins to The Store. The Store will then distribute the bruins to the children in families who participate in their program!
