• Armory Art Center: Exhibition Submission and Agreement for Annual Student + Faculty Exhibition

    This Exhibition Agreement (the Agreement) is made between the Armory Art Center, 811 Park Place, FL 33401 and the Armory Art Center Faculty and Students as follows:

     

    DATES TO REMEMBER

    • SUBMISSION DEADLINE - December 20, 2025
    • EXHIBITION RUN DATES - January 11 - March 5, 2025 until 12pm 
    • REMINDER NOTIFICATION - On or before December 17, 2025
    • DROP OFF - December 29- January 3, 2025 (Work not dropped off by the deadline will not be included)
    • RECEPTION - January 15, 2025 5:30 - 7:30pm 
    • PICK UP  - March 6, 2025, 12pm-4:30pm; March 7th 9am-5pm; March 9th, 9am-4pm; Closed Sunday
    • If you cannot pick up your work, please arrange to have someone else do so. Artwork not picked up by March 10th will begin to incur a $10/day storage fee. We appreciate your cooperation.

    Once you submit your form, you will receive an email stating we received your submission. You may also edit the form if necessary. Don't forget to click the submit button at the bottom of the form.  

     CHOOSE YOUR BEST WORK PER MEDIUM

    YOU MAY SUBMIT ONE ARTWORK PER MEDIUM ONLY. ALL ARTWORK MUST BE WORK MADE AT THE ARMORY BY THE ARTIST SUBMITTING. THE ARTWORK YOU CHOOSE TO SUBMIT WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE SHOW.  

  • INDEMNIFICATION

    Artist agrees to indemnify the Armory Art Center and all of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents, servants, employees, contractors, instructors, representatives, predecessors, successors, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, businesses, divisions, attorneys, insurance carriers, and all of their successors and assigns (collectively, the "Indemnified Parties") from any and all action brought against the Indemnified Parties as a result of any loss, damage, injury, or death caused by Artist or its respective officers, directors, shareholders, agents, servants, employees, representatives, predecessors, successors, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, businesses, divisions, attorneys, insurance carriers, and all of their successors and assigns as a result of the Exhibition.

  • ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Exhibition

    • It is open to Armory Faculty, Students, and Artists in Residences only. 
    • All artwork must be for sale.
    • Artists may exhibit only one work of art in each category that they work in at the Armory. For example, if you work in pottery and jewelry, they may submit one work in each area.
    • Artwork may not have been shown in any show at the Armory and must have been made within the last two years at the Armory. 
    • You only submit one artwork per medium. That work will be included in the show.
    • We have limited space, so please consider the size of the work you submit. If we have concerns, we will contact you. 
    • All artwork must be ready to be displayed or hung properly—for example, No D rings, etc. If work is not display-ready, we will not display it.
    • The Armory will make all decisions on the curation and installation of the show.
    • If a sale occurs the Artist will be responsible to provide the Armory a current w-9 for before payment can be made. We will contact you if we need a w-9.    

    2. The artist is responsible for packaging, shipping, delivering, removing, pick‐up, and insurance of work during transport to and from the Armory and the exhibition. 

    3. Photographs/video of the exhibition will be taken for promotional purposes. 

    4 . The Armory Staff will make labels of the works and will include the title, Name of the Artist, Media, and Price that you entered on your submission form.
