Position Summary:
The Policy Intern will assist with research, analysis, and development of public policy initiatives. This position is ideal for students or recent graduates with an interest in government, advocacy, or legislative affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on policy issues.
- Prepare briefing materials, policy memos, and presentations for internal and external use.
- Track and analyze proposed legislation and government programs relevant to key policy areas.
- Attend meetings, hearings, or events related to policy topics and provide summaries or updates.
- Assist in drafting policy recommendations or proposals for stakeholders.
- Provide general administrative support to the policy team as needed.
- Ability to travel to the district (Haverhill, MA).
Timeline:
- 15-20 hours/week

Qualifications:
- Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
