Shop Small, Win Big

Shop at participating downtown Asheville businesses between November 25 and December 22, 2024, and you could win big! Each week, one lucky shopper will win $500, and the business where they shopped will also receive $500. This program, sponsored by Asheville Downtown Association in partnership with Bank of America, is a way to reward those who support our local economy while spotlighting the unique shops and businesses that make Asheville special.

"Shop Small, Win Big" Official Rules and Disclaimers

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of North Carolina who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Asheville Downtown Association, Bank of America, participating businesses, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited.

Program Period: Receipts must be submitted between November 25, 2024, and December 22, 2024. Weekly winners will be drawn every Monday, beginning December 2, 2024.

Prizes: One (1) winner will be randomly selected each week to receive $500 for themselves and $500 for the business listed on their receipt. A total of ten (10) weekly prizes will be awarded during the program.

Entry Requirements: Receipt entries must be submitted online through the official submission form or QR code provided at participating businesses. Receipts must be legible and include the business name, purchase date, and total amount spent.

Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received by 11:59 PM on the Sunday preceding each drawing. Winners will be notified by phone or email and must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize. If no response is received, an alternate winner will be drawn.

Consent to Publicity: By entering, participants agree to allow the Asheville Downtown Association and its partners, including Bank of America, to use their name, likeness, and submitted photographs for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

Liability Release: By participating, entrants release and hold harmless the Asheville Downtown Association, Bank of America, and all affiliated sponsors from any liability, claim, or damage arising out of participation in the promotion or acceptance of any prize.

No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win: A purchase does not increase your chances of winning. To enter without making a purchase, mail a postcard with your name, phone number, and address to: Shop Small, Win Big, 29 Haywood Street, Asheville, NC 28801. Mailed entries must be postmarked by December 10, 2024, to be considered. Please also include the business you would like to support.

General Conditions:

Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent will be disqualified.
The Asheville Downtown Association reserves the right to modify or cancel the program at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
All decisions regarding the program are final and binding in all respects.
Privacy Notice: Information collected from participants will only be used for contest administration and prize notification purposes.
