All Participants Should:
Participant Requirements:
Serve Chowder: Provide 4-ounce portions for $2. You cover the participation fee and keep all proceeds. Bring your own bowls, spoons, and napkins.
Membership: Be a Discover Saratoga member in good standing.
Forms: Complete all enclosed forms—required for the event permit.
Report Bowls Served: Call by 5 PM Saturday to qualify for awards. Winners are determined by the percentage of #1 votes per bowl served.
Pick Up Supplies: Collect crackers, posters, permits, etc., at 60 Railroad Place on Thursday, 2/6, or Friday, 2/7.
Health Permit: Obtain a one-day Dept. of Health permit if serving off-site.
What We Provide:
Event Promotion: 10,000 handouts, online voting, a dedicated webpage, and promotion across TV, radio, print, digital, and social media.
Awards & Voting: Online voting at DiscoverSaratoga.org/Vote (QR codes provided). Winners will be announced by 6 PM Saturday, with awards at 6:30 PM at the Visitor Center.
Merchandise Sales: Chowderfest hats ($10) and shirts ($15-$17) available for purchase.
Event Support: Permits for street closures, police presence, EMTs, and public safety.
