2025 Brampton Writer In Residence Call

Presented by the Brampton Arts Organization (BAO), Brampton Library (BL), and the Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD), the Brampton Writer in Residence Program provides funding of $3,000 and free, dedicated workspace to professional adult fiction writers to undertake an eight week residency at the Brampton Library, Gore Meadows Branch (10150 The Gore Road, Brampton, ON, L6P 0A6), from February 24 to April 25 2024.

The program requires that the successful applicant provide approximately 10 hours per week to developing and delivering three engaging programs and/or workshops and regular one-on-one appointments for the general public to review their written work. The remaining time is available for the successful writer to work on their own project.
